It's futile!! Stop protesting. Sorry to say, but the war isn't gonna end just because a bunch of objectors march around in a circle or sit around holding hands with megaphones. Sure it's a bad thing, but it's not going to end because we want it to. Please find a better way to spend your time. I know it's sad, the war is unjust and Ive got friends over there just as I'm sure some of you do, but what can we expect to do? Do you honestly think the politicians and businessmen who are running this war will listen to those of us who want it to end? nope! Sure let people know where you stand, that's great, but you won't be able to stop the wheel, so stop trying!!!!!!

oh my dear courtney...there is always hope; hope does not dissapoint. take your message and say that to one of the lost boys of sudan or those in the brothels of calcutta. broadly speaking, there may be little that can be done, but we are called to perservere, not to stop trying...i am surprised with your outlook.

Dear friend cara,
I guess what I'm saying is that I'm fed up with protests. I'm not fed up with hope, why without hope the world would be one hellish place. But I feel that there has to be a more affective method of spreading peace and hope other than protesting, and I feel as though going to yet another anti-war/ peace protest is not going to accomplish anything. After almost 7 years of the protesting, the war is still going on with no end in sight. The politicians aren't listening. But there are still things that we can do to share the peace and love of God, for instance, writing letters of encouragement to those who we know that are over seas, taking trips to help those who are victims, raising awareness for those victims and encouraging other people to action (anything other than protesting). And most important of all, pray pray pray!!!!
Sorry for the lack of clearness... :)
